Living in a Bubble to Living Free
Many years ago, my allergies began with a skin reaction to perfume on my wrist and a bout of hives from sitting in the grass. Slowly over the years, my intolerance to fragrances, the environment and foods grew, at the height I couldn’t walk down the cleaning isle at the grocery store or walk into a department store that had a perfume counter. I also couldn't eat the foods I loved without coughing at every meal-sometimes choking until I vomited. But the last straw was becoming highly allergic to my coworkers, suffering symptoms ranging from mild itching to feeling like I had been hit by a truck.
